This is from a friend to a woman who had custody problems. This is how they control people.

COMES NOW Cynthia Hampton, having been duly sworn and states:

1. RESIDENT. I am a resident of the State of California, over the age of 18, and fully competent to make this Affidavit.

PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE.

  1. I was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses for eight years.
  2. I walked away due to personal beliefs in 1980.
  3. Since then, I have had little contact with friends and family who are still Jehovah’s Witnesses due to shunning. They pretend that they do not know me if they happen to see me.
  4. My own brother has not spoken to me since 1980, even though he lives only 90 miles from me.
  5. My parents did not speak to me for 18 years, and have just recently met their grandchildren who are now 15 and 12 years old.
  6. I was not allowed to visit my dying cousin in the hospital since he was a Jehovah’s Witness. Since they are instructed to shun me, my name was put on the “Not allowed to visit list” at the hospital.
  7. I know that shunning has had a negative impact on my family life by creating tension, strife and depriving my children of grandparents, an uncle and other extended family.

Healing from Abusive Groups

People who have been abused need love, forgiveness and grace. There is only one person, the One God, the Lord Jesus Christ, who can give us the love, forgiveness, and Grace that we need. Many people come out of cults and due to their social deprivation and basic need, they go right into another abusive cult. There can only be healing in the arms of Jesus our Savior, who Loves us, forgives us, and gives us Grace.

The "Public Talk"

You can't get in unless you're a Jehovah's Witness, or connected in some way to a Jehovah's Witness, but they call it a Public Talk, because it happens on Sunday Morning, when other people are worshipping God in churches.

For forty-five minutes on a Sunday Morning, people are sitting in a Kingdom Hall, listening to this man who is up on a platform, thinking that every thing he says is coming from God. They will hang on every word which this man says. They will hear the latest prophecies about the end of the world, they will hear the latest threats given by the Watchtower and Tract Society, which by the way is supposed to also come from God, and of course, encouragement that if they are stomping door to door and practicing hate towards the right people then they are doing the right thing. This includes family who are not Jehovah's Witnesses, maybe their children, maybe their parents, but it always includes those who have asked questions and the elders did not want to answer them, etc.

So this is what happens in a Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall on a Sunday Morning.

Out Of Control, and Getting Worse.

Jehovah's Witnesses are allowing and condoning the actions of men; by men I mean male human beings. If you are male and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, you can do all sorts of things. You are the head of the house, and if you get in trouble with the law, you will never get prosecuted.

A man who is a Jehovah's Witness can beat his wife, abuse his children, rape, sexually molest, go deer/dear hunting with other Jehovah's Witness males to play cards, probably for money, also to drink, tell filthy jokes; all these things he gets away with because their doctrine says that they are the Alpha Male, the head of the household and any women that they want to mess with, including little girls.

God's Word tells us to get away from people with whom we don't want to share in their sins, at least that was what Jws told me when I was studying. I take this to mean at this point in my life that I an all people should stay away from the Jehovah's Witnesses, because we don't want to share in their sins.

In other words, get out and stay out.

Form of dysfunction

Dysfunction comes in many forms. It is a word meaning that something does not work. A family, a church, or a relationship between two people. Many things cause dysfunctionality; the way one relates to one's past, the way one has been raised as a child,--all things come together, and if they don't work, that is what we mean by dysfunctional situations.

This is one I just found out about.

Unitarian Universalists Association, a research paper written for a class at Southwest Bible College in March of 2003, written by Chris Wotherspoon, who is now assistant pastor at Moreno Christian Fellowship in Moreno Valley, CA.

This is a group representing 1,000 liberal congregations in North America. It is the American Branch of a group which had its origins in Poland in the 1770s, a group which believed that a loving God wouldn’t send anyone to Hell, thus salvation is universal.

Today, this group is very much Anti-Trinitarian. Their concept of God encompasses a plethora of ideas, but the Bible is not held as an infallible guide for one’s life. Their outward claims support a reverence for life, (although for some reason they find it correct to support abortion) support for love of truth, the holy or the gracious.
Wotherspoon contends that it may be easier to win a Muslim to Jesus Christ than a UU, for the simple reason that at least the Muslims believe in one true God. UU’s are so different that it is difficult to employ one approach

I have created this blog as an awareness tool

Many have come out of cults only to join others. I am going to post, on this page, descriptions of groups which I have knowledge about which are equally as dangerous as the one I came out of. I feel that the Lord has given me this task to do.
